Bill O'Reilly Right on Ft. Hood Shooter

Sometimes Bill O'Reilly makes absolutely no sense at all and I usually disagree with him but when O'Reilly discussed the media's coverage of the Ft. Hood Shooter Nidal Malik Hasan, I found myself nodding in agreement with what he had to say. For those of you living under a rock, Hasan a 39-year-old military psychologist gunned down 13 people and wounded 38.

Here is O'Reilly's take on the media coverage:

Many people wanted to blame the military for this man's psychological problems, blame public policy and throw around their psychobabble. Bill O'Reilly said it best: "And you know why people came in here, because they knew they were going to get an honest story. They weren't going to get spin that Hasan is some kind of post-traumatic syndrome victim. Some kind of victim of a terrible public policy gone awry. They're not going to get that..... I almost said a bad word. They're not going to get that garbage here."
.
As O'Reilly pointed out Dr. Phil was one of the biggest psycho-babblers out there discussing this, he wanted to blame the war for Hasan's actions.

Soshana Johnson, a screechy former prisoner of war also tried to paint Hasan as a poor victim who has "feelings." Screechy Soshana also went on to blame the military and suggest Hasan had PTSD, despite the fact that he had never been to war. Why would he have PTSD if he had never been deployed? And If this evil man had any "feelings" he wouldn't murder 13 people in cold blood, he would have simply killed himself.

Why is it when someone from the military murders innocent people, there are some who always want to look for an excuse? Take Corey Mitchell, a coward true crime author who wrote in the Daily Kos (using a pseudonym) in 2007 that the military is to blame for the actions of serial killers. Mitchell wrote in a post titled "Killitary" that the mlitary is to blame for the actions of several high profile murderers. What ever happened to personal responsibility? Why is society, the military or public policy always to blame when someone does something evil and self centered? I think it comes from the lame idea that "it takes a village" to raise children that everyone is responsible for everyone else and there is no parental responsibility or personal responsibility. After many blogs slammed him, the Daily Kos deleted the entry, but Mitchell still keeps the post up on his true crime blog.

Hasan was evil, you don't murder 13 people if you are simply depressed. You would only kill yourself. Only a freak with no regard for the lives of others would take the life of someone else. I'm really tired of these psychobabblers and armchair psychologists who make excuses and blame everyone under the sun for the actions of evil people, and as O'Reilly pointed out, so are the American people.

BREAKING NEWS IN THE CAYLEE ANTHONY CASE

There is explosive breaking news coming out of Orlando Florida in the case of Casey Anthony accused of murdering her 2-year-old daughter Caylee Anthony. The new twist in this bizarre case is the fact that a bottle and syringes were found at the site where Caylee's dead body was disposed off. Both the bottle and the syringe had traces of Chloroform inside of them.

This evidence is another nail in the coffin of Casey Anthony, but will it seal her fate in court? Casey Anthony's computer contained web searches for chloroform, missing children, neck breaking and the death penalty. These searches took place before Caylee died, which would show premeditation. Also, it is being reported that a bag found inside of Casey Anthony's car had "coffin flies" in it, those are flies that are attracted to decomposing flesh.

A a friend of mine named Amy on Facebook told me, "the gun is smoking! How's the Bella Vita now, bi***???" I couldn't have said it better. She was referring to the tattoo Casey got on her back while her child's body rotted away and decomposed. While the body deteriorated Casey was lying through her teeth about a babysitter that kidnapped Caylee. I hope that Casey Anthony got comfortable with syringes because if the prosecution has it their way, she will be getting one right in the arm!

Crimes Against Children

Crimes against children have been dominating the news lately. Here is a quick wrap up of the latest headlines where children have gone missing or fell victim of a violent crime.

Somer Thompson:

7-year-old Florida girl Somer Thompson was murdered and her body was disposed of like garbage in a Georgia landfill. It is believed that Somer was abducted while walking home from school. Psychiatrist Dr. Michael Welner told Good Morning America that the freak who most likely murdered Somer falls into two categories of child predators: Visible pedophiles, which are pedophiles that are known to associate and be around children on a daily basis. Examples he gave are coaches or people who do volunteer work with children. The second example he gave are pedophiles that have normal relationships and behave normally infront of the public.

Investigators working the case have urged the public to alert them of anyone suspicious. He wanted people to be especially on the lookout for people who have developed a strange interest in the case of Somer Thompson and are watching the coverage of the investigation. He also stated that if anyone exhibiting these behaviors has gave away their vehicle or is hiding it need to be reported.

Clay County police asked tipsters to call 877-227-6911 if they have any information of the brutal murder of this child.

Elizabeth Olten:

9-year-old Elizabeth Olten was murdered allegedly by a 15-year-old girl! This is a case out of Missouri, the victim Elizabeth Olten was coming home from a friends house when she vanished. A tip led them to their suspect and it wasn't a pedophile, it was a 15-year-old girl who had played with Elizabeth. The 15-year-old girl led police to the body of Elizabeth. Reports indicate that physical and handwritten evidence led to the arrest of this 15-year-old girl whose name is not being made public because of her age. This unnamed 15-year-old is being charged with 1st degree murder and a judge is set to determine whether she will be tried as an adult or if the juvenile justice system will handle the case.

I think if this 15-year-old girl is cold blooded enough to murder a 9-year-old girl, then she is certainly old enough to be tried as an adult. If you can't do the time, don't do the crime.

Haleigh Cummings:

Tim Miller with the search and recovery group Texas Equusearch recently stated that he believes the missing Satsuma Florida child Haliegh Cummings is dead. Tim Miller recently announced that despite believing Haleigh is dead, his group will continue to search for the missing child and he has plans to go back to Satsuma to continue his search. Tim Miller will be speaking out in an Exclusive interview, on the Levi Page Show tomorrow night at 10 PM EST / 9 CST.

Loved & Controlled

Tomorrow night WE's "Secret Lives of Women" will explore the expolosive case of Drew Peterson, the mysterious death of his third wife Kathleen Savio and the disappearance of his fourth wife Stacy in an episode titled "Love & Controlled." Drew Peterson is currently awaiting trial for the murder of his third wife and the case has sparked a discussion on the important issue of domestic violence.

Amy Jones will be featured on the show to tell her courageous story:

"Amy Jones married her high school boyfriend, Chris Rezos, who, she says, was very compassionate and loving. But over time he changed, and started to control her life. He complained about the way the dishwasher was loaded and about how much soap she used in the laundry. He told her repeatedly that she was a bad mother and that she was stupid. In 2004, she decided to leave him. While meeting in a hotel room to discuss their divorce, Chris attacked Amy. He bludgeoned her with a flashlight and tried to choke and drown her. She survived. Three weeks later, while out of jail on bond, Chris hid in her car and shot her twice in the head. Miraculously, she survived again. Amy is now a domestic violence spokeswoman. She worked to get a bill passed in Ohio that carries her name. Amy’s Law requires judges to use a risk assessment checklist before letting a domestic abuser out on bail." SOURCE

I had the chance to speak with Amy about her ex husband Chris Rezos, her life now, her advocacy, her thoughts on domestic violence and her plans for the future. In addition to the first two attacks on her, Amy told me how Chris Rezos tried to hire someone to murder her, her mother, and her brother while he was behind bars. She also spoke about how controlling her ex husband was and how she couldn't even go to the grocery store anymore. Amy also talked about her family and in particular her brother, who helped pass "Amy's Law" a law that was signed into law in Ohio that made it tough for abusers to get out of jail and added protections to victims of domestic violence.

Despite getting Amy's law passed Amy feels that domestic abusers are not treated harshly enough in our criminal justice system. Amy told me that she feels getting a restraining order is not enough and that her advice to victims would be to get out of the violent relationship and move in with family members or close friends, if possible move out of state, never be alone and to make sure the locks and codes to your home is safe and secure.

I also asked Amy about the pain she had to endure and how this has changed her life. She described to me how she will never have full vision again in her left eye and how she had to have brain surgery after her attacks. She told me she is doing very well considering what she had to endure, but still she has problems doing every-day things people take for granted such as putting on makeup. She says that she doesn't want anyone else to go through what she went through. Amy also said that she feels very lucky, and she described to me how she lost so much blood during the attacks. She said that 75% of women are not able to make it out of violent relationships and that fact is "sickening" to her.

Amy also spoke about the devastating effects domestic violence has on children. She told me that it breaks her heart that children have to endure such evil. She spoke about how one of her two children has to see a psychiatrist because of what happened to her. She also told me that children cannot live a normal life in domestic violence shelters.

I asked about Amy's plans for the future and she hopes to pass a law where it is mandtory to teach high school age children about the dangers of domestic violence and what to do if they end up in a violent relationship so they can protect themselves. Amy put it best when she told me "knowledge is power and the cycle of domestic violence needs to be stopped." Amy also says that she wants to continue speaking out about domestic violence, she wants to continue to speak to victims and she wants to drive home the signs and symptoms of domestic violence. In her words she wants to do everything she can to get awareness out there. Amy also told me how she is going back to school to be an LPN and that she was inspired to help others after her experience in the health care system.

Amy is a courageous woman who is taking a stand against domestic violence and she is an inspiration to everyone. Her story is a testament that despite that whatever happens to us we can bounce back and we can fight for what is right. I hope everyone tunes in to the "Secret Lives of Women" because Amy put it best "knowledge is power" and we have to stope the cycle of domestic violence. If you are in a violent relationship get out now call: 1.800.799.SAFE

Amy's Emergency Fund benefits victims of violent and domestically violent crimes. Named in honor of Amy Jones (CADV board member and speaker) the fund helps victims of domestic violence get back on their feet and become self sufficient. For more information GO HERE.

Amy Jones is a survivor who narrowly escaped death after her husband made two brutal attempts on her life. After a third attempt, he was sent to prison for 30 years. Amy testified before the Ohio Senate and House subcommittees urging the passage of the bill that bears her name. Amy's Law requires judges to use a risk assessment checklist before letting a domestic abuser out on bond. She appreared on Oprah Winfrey's show in October, 2005. Amy speaks to schools, colleges, churches, and civic organizations.

The Circus Continues in the Haleigh Cummings & Caylee Anthony Cases

After the 48 Hours Mystery special on the murder of toddler Caylee Anthony aired, the grandparents of Caylee and the parents of her alleged murderer were paid 20,000 bucks and went on a cruise. George and Cindy Anthony have yet to get a job after after the murder of Caylee. These two are literally living off their dead grandchild.

I'm not one of these people that foam at the mouth at the mention of George and Cindy, infact I do think they have been treated somewhat unfairly by the public. They are not the ones who are on trial for Caylee's murder. It is their daughter Casey Anthony, but when they pull stunts like this they deserve to be called out. These two cannot go on 48 Hours Mystery, cry for the cameras to try and get sympathy and then pocket 20,000 bucks and head on a cruise!

In the 48 Hours Mystery special, a foundation called "The Caylee Marie Anthony Foundation" was established by George and Cindy. This is the mission statement from the website.

"The Caylee Marie Anthony Foundation will prevent child abduction through the creation of awareness of child safety measures and the missing child epidemic; will provide support to families and law enforcement during child recovery efforts; and will assist in the well-being of children in need of comfort and support during difficult and stressful times."

Why didn't they put the money in the foundation? This is pure speculation but I wouldn't be shocked to learn that George and Cindy are living off the donations that people are putting into the Caylee Marie Anthony Foundation.

In the Haleigh Cummings case, the last person to see the missing child alive, Misty Croslin is now officially divorced after getting married to the child's father Ronald. Apparently Misty and two friends were robbed while trying to buy drugs. For more on this development go here.

I question the judgement of Ronald Cummings. This idiot left his two children with a 17-year-old loser who is involved in drugs, partying and alcohol. This girl doesn't even have a middle school education and you shack up with her and leave her in the care of your two young children?

During the course of this investigation, she has been involved in drug, alcohol and sex binges, road rage incidents and family feuds. I wouldn't leave my dog or cat in the care of this freak, much less a 5 and 4 year old child!

CPS is investigating Ronald Cummings, after learning that Ronald threatened to kill Misty, himself and others. He also keeps a loaded gun in an unlocked closet in the same room Junior, his youngest child sleeps!

This child never stood a chance living in a hell hole with these uncivilized losers!

HAPPY 23RD BIRTHDAY NATALEE

Today would have been Natalee's 23rd birthday. She would have been in medical school by now, on her way to becoming a doctor.

We are all missing you and thinking of you on this day in 1986 when Beth and Dave became proud parents who named you Natalee Ann.

GOD BLESS NATALEE, and all her family and friends! We haven't forgotten and never will.
